This awards programme is more than recognition and serves as a regional benchmark for technology maturity across ASEAN and Hong Kong, and builds on last years success.

The CSO30 ASEAN Awards are aligned with Foundry’s global awards framework. The programme celebrates the leading individuals and organisations driving cybersecurity initiatives that deliver outstanding business value and demonstrate exceptional leadership.

CSO Ecosystem Team

The CSO Ecosystem Award recognises cybersecurity teams that excel in building and orchestrating collaborative ecosystems.

These efforts strengthen cybersecurity outcomes beyond their own organisations.

This award honours Chief Security Officers and equivalent leaders whose cybersecurity teams actively partner with a number of groups. This includes industry peers, government agencies, technology providers, and broader stakeholder networks.

Together, they enhance collective defence, strengthen intelligence sharing and drive sector-wide resilience.

The finalists in alphabetical order are:

Advance Intelligence Group

Advance Intelligence Group’s Enterprise Cyber Resilience Transformation connects security, engineering, risk, compliance, customers, regulators, investors and technology partners. It does this through a common resilience framework spanning more than eight countries.

The programme extends cybersecurity beyond internal defence through third-party resilience, regulatory engagement and more than 230 customer, investor and partnership security assessments.

It has improved threat detection times by 60 per cent, response times by 50 per cent, and detection coverage by 30 per cent. It also supports 15 regulatory licences and strengthens trust across the group’s broader financial and data ecosystem.

ComfortDelGro

ComfortDelGro’s OneCDG Secure Identity programme created a standardised identity-governance ecosystem. This connects employees, business units, auditors, implementation partners, application owners and technology providers across Singapore, the UK and Australia.

Developed alongside the organisation’s SAP transformation, the reusable framework embeds access-governance controls. As well as segregation-of-duties controls and automated user lifecycle management across enterprise applications.

It currently governs approximately 2,500 identities. It has processed more than 30,000 entitlement requests, and provides a scalable security blueprint for additional entities, applications, and partner environments.

Healthcare Cybersecurity Technology Alliance

The Healthcare Cybersecurity Technology Alliance represents a sector-wide shift from isolated organisational defence to a more collaborative approach to healthcare security.

Its team brought together healthcare providers, technology suppliers, regulatory stakeholders and international partners, including Health-ISAC and OT-ISAC. It gives them ability to share anonymised threat intelligence, establish common frameworks and conduct joint resilience activities.

The alliance includes approximately 1,000 individual, institutional, and corporate members. It has facilitated the sharing of thousands of healthcare-specific threat indicators and has contributed to measurable improvements in cybersecurity maturity across participating providers.

MSD

MSD has used Singapore’s Cyber Trust Mark programme to strengthen trust and cybersecurity assurance across its healthcare, supplier and government ecosystem.

Working with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and external assessors, the team validated more than 900 control requirements across 21 domains and more than 300 complex security scenarios.

It retains one of the highest Advocate-level certifications while expanding coverage to application, cloud, and AI security.

By sharing its practices and applying a government-endorsed standard to partner relationships, MSD is helping to raise the cybersecurity baseline. As well as strengthen resilience across the wider healthcare community.

Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA)

Thailand’s NCSA orchestrated a nationwide alliance involving a number of organisations. This includes the telecom regulator, THNIC, industry associations, government agencies, and every major internet provider to strengthen the country’s Domain Name System through DNSSEC.

The programme enabled competing providers to share implementation knowledge. With test deployments in a common sandbox environment and use independent APNIC telemetry to track adoption and measure progress.

Thailand’s DNSSEC validation rate rose from 8.01 per cent to 58.71 per cent. While the number of signed .th domains increased from 971 to 4,599. Network-level protection now extends across 99.5 million cellular connections, demonstrating collective defence at a national scale.

CSO ASEAN

“The finalists in the CSO30 ASEAN Awards 2026 Ecosystem category represent the extraordinary calibre of security leadership across the region,” said Dr Chris Holmes, Editorial Director, Asia. “By building and orchestrating collaborative ecosystems, they are strengthening cybersecurity outcomes beyond their own organisations — a critical contribution to Southeast Asia’s ongoing digital transformation.

“Their work demonstrates how security leaders can strengthen resilience not only within their own organisations but across the wider ecosystem. While at the same time embracing new technologies and empowering their workforces to protect critical operations.

“We are delighted to celebrate their achievements at the CIO100 and CSO30 ASEAN Awards Gala Night on 5 November 2026 in Singapore.”
